Equipping The Church To Engage The Culture - The Watchmen Tour Hits The Road
We Are The Watchmen Weekly publishers Julianna Ormond & RC Williams recently kicked off the We Are The Watchmen Tour at Lake Church in White Lake, NC, on a mission to Equip The Church To Engage The Culture.
“All of the things we’re seeing (in the culture) is because the power is being consolidated to these organizations (Vanguard, BlackRock, State Street) that are creating ESG scores & all of these things that as a church we shouldn’t be supporting,” said Ormond during the presentation.
“This is a result of what happens when the church abdicates leadership of the culture… we get the world that you see today,” said Williams.

6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.’
5 They said to him, “You are old, and your sons do not follow your ways; now appoint a king to lead[a] us, such as all the other nations have.”
6 But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. 8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. 9 Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights.”
Isaiah 3:12:
12 Youths oppress my people, women rule over them.
My people, your guides lead you astray; they turn you from the path.
20 Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil, who put darkness for light
and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
2 Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
