In the rapidly evolving landscape of the 21st century where the currents of change often erode the bedrock of our societal values, the call for patriotic activism rings out with renewed urgency.
"Empowered 2 ACT: Maintaining The Pillars of Patriotism," is not merely a response to this call—it is a clarion call of its own, a manifesto for those who stand on the front lines in defense of liberty, tradition, and the enduring principles that constitute the foundation of our society.
We Are The Watchmen Weekly is our look at what’s happening in the world, and what we, as Watchmen on the Wall, are responsible to make people aware of.
Each week, we dig deeper into the stories that matter most and connect the dots with scripture.

The Power Of God’s Hand: Business From The Inside Out - The US Christian Chamber Of Commerce National Expo 2024
The powerful bullhorn for the Lord was heard far and wide this week in Orlando, FL as the 2024 US Christian Chamber of Commerce Business Expo brought together Kingdom businesses to praise, worship, learn, and connect with each other to engage and influence the culture with the word.
The U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization for Christian businesses. Its mission is to build the Kingdom, businesses, and community through engagements and greater exposure in the marketplace.
"The U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce, headquartered in Orlando, plays a vital role in supporting national businesses. This expo and conference, which brings attendees from around the world, highlights the County's dedication to global business initiatives,” said Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings.
“It's an honor to support such a significant event in Orange County."
As you read this week’s recap of this incredible conference, it’s important to understand that our impact as believers should be felt well beyond the four walls - we are actually commanded to do this in scripture - and those of us who own or work for biblically-led business are the hands the feet to take care of the Lord’s business.
For that to happen, we have to be grounded in Him:
As we see in Ephesians 6:13-15:
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
And also in Philippians 1:27:
27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel.
When we submit and faithfully follow, the Lord also shows us what we have in store:
And in 2 Chronicles 20:17:
17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”
We’ll take you inside this incredible event, right after this.

“Guys… Keep the main thing THE MAIN THING”
“We have 840 times more opportunities to reach the unchurched than the pastor in a pulpit on Sunday,” said US Chamber of Commerce President Krystal Parker during her Thursday morning keynote.
“We've got to do business with intention and purpose, and something's got to change. And that took me to 1 Corinthians 3. And I started to really look into what is 1 Corinthians 3 and why am I in there over and over reading that verse. Corinth was that economic epicenter. Business was booming, important at this time.” Parker shared.
“And it was a pre-Christian society. And he said, telling the Corinthians, how they need to do business and how they need to live. And I believe that it was through the marketplace. You guys have heard it, Billy Graham said, the next great movement of God is coming through believers in the marketplace.
And guess what? People are not in churches. So how are they going to know the love of Christ? Especially when we're wearing our church bumper sticker on our cars and flipping people off?”
Parker’s keynote set the tone for the day - and the conference - as responsibility, intention, and purpose based around 1 Corinthians 3.
Other day one keynote speakers included author and founder of F.I.T. In Faith Media Tamara Andress, author and Correct Craft CEO, Bill Yeargin, and 4 Rivers Founder, John Rivers, who discussed “The 3 P’s - Purpose, Passion, & Perseverance” including his story of the creation of the 4 Rivers brand.
“We were down to one day of money left…,” said Rivers. “When you work in faith, you’re going to be tested.”
Breakout sessions were also featured during the expo, including a powerful work from Bristan and Latondra Heaven, co-Presidents of the Central Florida Chamber of Commerce, entitled “Thriving in Babylon - Your Business Partnership With God In A World That Hates Him.”
“We’re Having A Family Conversation…”
Cameron Arnett, founder of Christ Over Career, closed out day one in a special way.
“Don’t record this on your phone,” said Arnett. “You can take pictures, but we’re having a family conversation right now, so no recording.”
“I asked God what I should talk about, and He gave me two things for you,” Arnett shared with an intense tone.
“Number 1: I bring you an apology… for bad teaching from the pulpit. And I say to you that I release you… and for you to forgive. Number 2: I bring you a rebuke and a warning.”
Arnett proceeded to deliver a message to the audience about responsibility as believers and leaders in the marketplace, with the understanding that what is done through us, by the Lord, is HIS and not ours.
“The world is all messed up… but you’re trying to get all up in it,” said Arnett.
“Uh huh…”
We already have what we need, yet we turn to the WORLD for approval.”
Arnett also took the time for Q&A with the audience, focused on answering their questions about his message, and also about what it means to bring the Kingdom to the marketplace.
The message from Arnett combined with thoughtful Q&A resonated with the audience, and resulted in a heartfelt profession of faith from an attendee during the morning prayer service on day two.
We’ll take a peek at day two of the expo and the call for believers to the marketplace after this.

Expo Recap: Day Two
Day two of the expo featured keynotes from Ford Taylor, Shae Bynes, Rob Maaddi, and Red Balloon CEO, Andrew Crapuchettes, discussing how to protect your Christian business in 2024.
As the expo wrapped up, the audience was given a special treat with the official debut of the new book, “Kingdom Commerce: Leaders Impacting Culture Through Faith And Action.”
The book is described as “a testament to the possibilities that emerge when faith meets action in the marketplace,” with contributions from some of the top leaders in the marketplace today, showing how they have woven faith into the very fabric of their businesses, becoming agents of change and beacons of hope in a world yearning for transformation.
Each of the authors joined US Christian Chamber President, Krystal Parker, on stage to discuss their contributions to the book, and their vision for how it will reach the masses.
