But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. - Ezekiel 33:6

Church, Come Out Of Your Slumber
Last week, we covered a lot of ground with Act For America Chair, Brigitte Gabriel. (Click Here to see that interview.)
One of the areas that we touched on is the responsibility of Watchmen and Shepherds.
That theme will be a big part of this week’s edition of the newsletter.
The Lord does not taking the leading of his people lightly, and those who are called to do so are held to a MUCH higher standard than others. Fortunately for us, He’s clear on what’s required and the consequences of disobedience in scripture. A refresher for you:
First, from Ezekiel 33:6-11:
6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned: if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away for his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.
7 So thou, O son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and admonish them from me.
8 When I shall say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt die the death, if thou dost not speak and admonish the wicked of his way, that wicked man shall die for his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thine hand.
9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it, if he do not turn from his way, he shall die for his iniquity, but thou hast delivered thy soul.
10 Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, Thus ye speak and say, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we are consumed because of them, how should we then live?
11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I desire not the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn you, turn you from your evil ways, for why will ye die, O ye house of Israel?
And in Jeremiah 23:1-2:
1.“Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!” declares the Lord.
2. Therefore this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds who tend my people: “Because you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done,” declares the Lord.
Also in Zechariah 11:17:
“Woe to the worthless shepherd,
who deserts the flock!
May the sword strike his arm and his right eye!
May his arm be completely withered,
his right eye totally blinded!”
Pro Tip: God’s love language is obedience.
Know Your Foe
With our foundation set, we begin a new series this week entitled, “Know Your Foe - Church, Come Out Of Your Slumber.”
In this series, we will point and call out those who are doing Satan’s work, exactly how they are doing it, and ways for you to also call out exactly how they are doing it, and to have meaningful discussions with those who are searching for answers as to why the world looks as it does.
We begin the series with a powerful statement that frames the state of the world, and how Satan is deceiving humanity to get them to believe that the Bible is an oppressive enemy:
(Editors Note: We have been unable to locate the author of this piece. We would provide proper credit and talk with them ASAP. If you know this person or are this person, please email us at wotw@usa.com)
In just four paragraphs, the writer provides us with an incredible contrast that most believers have been missing: If the Bible was truly evil and dangerous, everyone would be force-fed the contents 24/7/365, EVERYWHERE.
But when you look at the world today, all of the things that are in opposition to the word of God are the exact things that are impossible to escape from.
Homework:
1. Take the four paragraphs we’ve shared and memorize the important bullet points which you can use when talking with someone. Example: “I was watching so and so the other day, and it got me thinking… if something like the Bible was meant to brainwash people, wouldn’t it be forced on everyone everywhere, all of the time? Then I though about it more, and I realized what is being forced on everyone all the time…”
2. Tie in scripture when people ask you “why” from 2 Timothy 3:1-5:
1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,
4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
Example: “It may sound strange, but when I looked at bible verses, I kept finding things that talked about how people are acting today. Once I found them, all of this made way more sense.”
Now, let’s take a look at a few of our foes.

Foe #1: The Accelerating Trans Agenda.
Strengths: A useful weapon for Satan, endless outlets for indoctrination of youth, and support from authority figures.
Weaknesses: More people being awakened to the evil, average people listening to their spirit and asking questions, more Christians pointing out the evil.
Their Talking Points: “Agree or you are a ‘Transphobe’ and hate people!” “Your sex is fluid and that’s normal!” “You’re not being very ‘Christian’ by not accepting us!”
When you see men who think that they are women, you are naturally confused.
The reasons for this are:
Your spirit knows that something is off and does not belong, as it is acting as a warning system;
Your flesh (i.e. your brain) is trying to make common and practical sense of what you’re seeing, because it’s confused.
Today, you’re being told that both of those things are not only wrong, but that they threaten the lives of those men who believe they are women and that you need to accept them... or else you’re intolerant and you’ll be made an example of.
As a believer, you already know that’s wrong… but imagine you’re someone who is searching for answers and is under the misguided notion that tolerance of this is helpful. And, since you have no scriptural reference combined with endless social pressure, you don’t see an alternative and you think you’re doing the right thing by “supporting them.”
That situation take us to a very dark place, where we end up with videos like this one:
This is a man, who thinks that he is a woman, and wants to the first “trans woman” to have a “uterus transplant,” so he can be the first “trans woman” to have an abortion.
Read that again, slowly. Then, watch the video again.
This is where society is right now.
Don’t be surprised if someone comes out and says this video was a “joke” or a “parody to upset Christian conservatives.”
That’s just creative cover. What was said was meant to be said… you should take it literally. The person in this video, and others like him, are broken and being used by Satan for his ends.
Your Superpowers: Faith, Scripture, and Common Sense.
As bad as this looks, the good news is that the Lord is bringing this all to light… and you have all the tools you need to call it out and help others to understand that their spirit and common sense are there for a reason.
The Lord also provides us scripture that’s right on time:
Starting with Isaiah 5:20:
Woe unto them that speak good of evil, and evil of good, which put darkness for light, and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for sour.
Homework: This verse allows you to connect the dots with those you’re speaking with to help them understand why they feel (and can’t explain) why the trans agenda gives them a weird feeling. It’s evil being twisted as good… an easy talking point that will spark more questions.
Then there's Romans 1:26-27:
26. For this cause God gave them up to vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.
27. And likewise also the men left the natural use of the woman, and burned in their lust one toward another, and man with man wrought filthiness, and received in themselves such recompense of their error, as was meet.
And Jude 1:7:
7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.
Lesson: God WILL give you up to a debased mind if you mock him and rebel against him. Once that happens, it’s open season for Satan.
Homework: As you bring people along, you can also share the high death and suicide rates (Click Here and Here for studies) from the trans agenda, including the agenda from media in these same studies saying that proper health care is needed after doing treatments that cause the high risk issues they claim need treatment.
Done right, the people you talk with will connect the dots with what they see, and why they see the consequences that they do, happening right before their eyes.
Up next, we’ll take a look at Foe #2.

Foe #2: Church Leaders & Twisted Language
Strengths: Satan uses this as a weapon in combination with other weapons, masquerading as “tolerance,” uses men in clergy in positions of power to force an agenda, leverages loyalty of members to get them to conform.
Weaknesses: More people pointing out leadership weaknesses and refusing to comply or conform, more leaders standing up a denominations and drawing a line in the sand, clergy arrogance.
Their Talking Points: “We have to be more tolerant and accepting!” “God’s gender really isn’t confirmed in the bible.” “You shouldn’t judge!”
Here’s a recent headline from The Guardian with the first 3 paragraphs included for context:
The archbishop of York has suggested that opening words of the Lord’s Prayer, recited by Christians all over the world for 2,000 years, may be “problematic” because of their patriarchal association.
In his opening address to a meeting of the Church of England’s ruling body, the General Synod, Stephen Cottrell dwelt on the words “Our Father”, the start of the prayer based on Matthew 6:9–13 and Luke 11:2–4 in the New Testament.
“I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” he said.
Let’s look to the Word for reference, starting with Matthew 6:9-13:
9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
And Luke 11:2-4:
2 He said to them, “When you pray, say:
“‘Father, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.
3 Give us each day our daily bread.
4 Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptation.’”
Notice the word Father? Let’s take a look at the definition of the word:
Pretty clear, right?
Not so much for men who think that they are God (because Satan has twisted their mind) and want to change the Word.
Let’s continue.
After Cottrell’s speech, Canon Dr Chris Sugden, chair of the conservative Anglican Mainstream group, pointed out that in the Bible Jesus urged people to pray to “our father”.
He said: “Is the archbishop of York saying Jesus was wrong, or that Jesus was not pastorally aware? It seems to be emblematic of the approach of some church leaders to take their cues from culture rather than scripture.”
Rev Christina Rees, who campaigned for female bishops, said Cottrell had “put his finger on an issue that’s a really live issue for Christians and has been for many years”.
She added: “The big question is, do we really believe that God believes that male human beings bear his image more fully and accurately than women? The answer is absolutely not.”
In February, the C of E said it would consider whether to stop referring to God as “he”, after priests asked to be allowed to use gender-neutral terms instead.
It agreed to launch a commission on gendered language, saying “Christians have recognized since ancient times that God is neither male nor female, yet the variety of ways of addressing and describing God found in scripture has not always been reflected in our worship”.
Let’s be honest about something…
When you are not only willing, but ecstatic about changing the word of God. You are no longer working for God.
You’re working for Satan. As we are told in scripture:
30 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.
31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
And in 2 Peter 2:1:
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.
These types of moves are a slight of hand by Satan… remember, he only needs a sliver of daylight and he’s in the door, wreaking havoc. In a world that’s constant prompted to “be accepting” of things that are not of God, getting the church to compromise on the identity of God is a huge score.
Lesson: Remember, the Lord does not taking the leading of his people lightly, and those who are called to do so are held to a MUCH higher standard than others.
Homework: If you haven’t already, you will encounter people who are searching for answers all over the board when you’re having this discussion.
A big reason for this is new age or pagan movements, that don’t recognize the one true God. They say, “Oh sure, I believe in God… I’m spiritual, not religious, so God can be female if I want her to be!”
What you’ll want to work on is helping people understand that any religion or movement that allows you to make changes to the Bible isn’t God’s religion… it’s a cult designed for idolatry… which allows Satan to run wild.
Pulling It Together
We are in a VERY SENSITIVE point in time. Satan has largely unmasked himself and operates openly, as he believes that he’s deceived enough people and nothing can be done to stop him.
As he’s always done, he underestimates the power of God, and those who serve him.
And remember: Satan can only do what God has granted him right to do. Satan is a weak coward… like an empty shirt laying in the corner. His deception is the only thing that gives him any power.
As you have this conversation with people, share with them the simple and clear scripture that connects these dots. It may be the one thing that they hear that brings them to Christ.
We Are The Watchmen Weekly provides easy and practical ways to tie scripture into what’s happening right now.
