Church, Come Out Of Your Slumber… There’s Hope!
As Watchmen, we are called to deal with the difficult things. The Lord tells us this in scripture so that we’re prepared for it. And most importantly, He provides us the spiritual tools, and wisdom, to do what he has called us to do.
We find this best described in Ephesians 6:10-18:
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
In this series, we will point and call out those who are doing Satan’s work, and exactly how they are doing it while empowering you to have meaningful discussions with those who are searching for answers as to why the world looks as it does.

Foe #3: Abortion
Strengths: One of Satan’s most useful weapons, as he is able to murder saints in the womb, presented to those who are deceived as “health care” and a “right” to justify it. Satan is on a mission to stop God’s plan and kill his creation… because he knows why we are made. As we are told in Jeremiah 1:5:
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
Weaknesses: More people being awakened to the evil, average people listening to their spirit and asking questions, more Christians pointing out the evil.
Their Talking Points: “You can’t deny a woman her right to choose, or to health care!“ “My body, my choice!” “You hate women!”

Pulling It Together
Though the times may be difficult, we have the creator on our side. As we are told in scripture, these things will come so that we know He is Lord.
As Jesus tells us in John 16:33:
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
He has given us the spiritual tools we need for the battle… we only need to use them.
Satan, as he’s always done, he underestimates the power of God, and those who serve him.
And remember: Satan can only do what God has granted him right to do. Satan is a weak coward… like an empty shirt laying in the corner. His deception is the only thing that gives him any power.
As you have this conversation with people, share with them the simple and clear scripture that connects these dots. It may be the one thing that they hear that brings them to Christ.
