But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. - Ezekiel 33:6

Watchmen Action, In Action: Calling Out The Enemies On The March
As we shared in the December 28th edition of We Are The Watchmen Weekly, we must remain vigilant against the enemy - not just for us, but for others… saved, and unsaved.
As we are told in scripture in: Ezekiel 33:6-8:
6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.’
7 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.
8 When I say to the wicked, ‘You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.
Today, we’ll look at two enemies on the march: the surveillance state and the apostate church.

The Enemy On The March: The Surveillance State

“New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, D, announced on Monday that the state will ramp up surveillance efforts of social media accounts and that law enforcement will take proactive measures, including contacting people on suspicion of using ‘hate speech.’
Hochul cited the rise in antisemitic activity in New York and especially New York City, where the world’s largest population of Jews outside of Israel resides. Hochul also mentioned alleged ‘Islamophobic’ incidents, which she claimed were increasing and going under-reported.
As part of that, Hochul explained:
“…we’re very focused on the data we’re collecting from surveillance efforts — what’s being said on social media platforms. And we have launched an effort to be able to counter some of the negativity. and reach out to people when we see hate speech being spoken about on online platforms. Our media analysis, our social media analysis unit, has ramped up its monitoring of sites to catch incitement to violence; direct threats to others, and all this is in response to our desire, our strong commitment, to ensure that not only do New Yorkers be safe, but they also feel safe because personal security is about everything for them.”
Hard Stop. Commentary:
Look very closely at what’s happening here.
The Governor of New York is telling you that the “ends justify the means” when it comes to “safety.”
Also notice how what you say is going to be closely monitored.
Now, ask yourself this question:
How is it possible to miss suspected mass shooters and mass terrorists with this “advanced technology,” yet it’s going to work to catch an average person who expresses their opinion?
Satan is slick, isn’t he? Scripture warns us about this, in Colossians 2:8:
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.
So, why are we warned about this? Because if we are not vigilant, the enemy will accelerate the attack.
Let’s continue.
“The calls come as Europe ramps up censorship of alleged hate speech, including pressuring X owner Elon Musk to censor the posts of online users. Many European nations now have laws that have made the expression of religious beliefs to be viewed as banned speech. This week Finnish Member of Parliament (MP) Päivi Räsänen and a Lutheran bishop were acquitted after four years of trials and investigations simply for sharing the biblical view on marriage and sexuality. And in the U.K., an Army veteran will soon be tried for silently praying for his deceased son outside of an abortion clinic.
In the U.S., politicians have demanded Internet censorship and have even engaged in it themselves. For example, the Supreme Court will hear Missouri v. Biden, a case which has shown that the federal government coerced social media platforms to censor content it disagreed with — even if the content was true.
Jonathan Turley, a constitutional law professor at George Washington University and free speech advocate who has written extensively on the issues of censorship and limitations on speech, has cautioned the U.S. against adopting European censorship laws that allow governments to stop people from saying things that governments oppose. “Despite what many think, ‘hate speech,’ which is subjective, is protected both by the Constitution and by Supreme Court precedent,” according to Turley.
Hard Stop. Commentary:
There’s real danger in this world… and on judgement day… when we as Watchmen don’t take action and call out a tyrannical enemy. Remember, we get judged for NOT warning the people.
As we’re told in Isaiah 5:20:
20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light
and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
And in Proverbs 25:26:
26 Like a muddied spring or a polluted well are the righteous who give way to the wicked.
This is one of the many reasons that Watchmen Action is so important. We must get the people focused on the issues that are most important, so that we can take back our power.
Homework: When you talk with people about what’s happening, be bold in asking common sense questions about the inability of government and those running it, and how they could possibly solve a problem by increasing their control of people. This will open the door for a conversation on how to get the best people to serve the public to step forward.
Watchmen Action has the battle plan, the tools, and the track record to flip the balance of power in our country with a foundation of Judeo-Christian values.

From the AP:
“Catholics around the world are sharply divided by the Vatican’s recent declaration giving priests more leeway to bless same-sex couples. Supporters of LGBTQ inclusion welcome the move; some conservative bishops assail the new policy as a betrayal of the church’s condemnation of sexual relations between gay or lesbian partners.
Strikingly, the flare-up of debate in Catholic ranks coincides with developments in two other international Christian denominations — the global Anglican Communion and the United Methodist Church — that are fracturing over differences in LGBTQ-related policies.
Taken together, it’s a dramatic illustration of how – in a religion that stresses God’s love for humanity – divisions over marriage, sexuality, and inclusion of gays and lesbians are proving insurmountable for the foreseeable future in many sectors of Christianity.
Hard Stop. Commentary:
The last paragraph is a sleight of hand.
It’s talks about God’s love for humanity, but skips over the part where God is clear on right and wrong, and how he disciplines those who are disobedient.
9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men
10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Pretty clear, right? If there’s clarity, as there is in scripture, the only division that exists is biblical right and wrong. Truly loving someone is being clear about just that - right and wrong - even if it hurts their feelings.
Let’s continue with a look at the story from The Washington Times.
“American evangelist Franklin Graham accused the Methodist Church of the United Kingdom of trying to edit the Bible by asking pastors not to use ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ in sermons.
‘The Methodist Church in the UK is trying to edit what the Word of God says to be more appealing to the changing whims of culture,’ Mr. Graham said Tuesday on the X social media platform. ‘As Christians, we aren’t called to avoid what might offend people — we are called to share the Truth of God’s Word.’
British Methodists, who claim about 170,000 adherents in the island nation, issued an ‘Inclusive Language Guide’ in October 2022.
Along with admonitions against antisemitism and Islamophobia, the document contains a caution about discussing couples in relationships: ‘Terminology such as ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ may sound inoffensive but it makes assumptions about a family or personal life that is not the reality for many people.’
According to the church, ‘At times we might find that people feel excluded or harmed by something we say, not because we have any bad intentions, but simply because our turn of phrase was automatic, or unconscious.’
The call for inclusive language, said John Lomperis of the Institute on Religion and Democracy, ‘never stops there,’ he said. ‘It always keeps going more and more and it should be a slippery slope and also a snowballing effect as it drives away more conservative and even moderate people then there’s less restraint and the brakes are off. If all you’re offering as a church is just a shallow ‘Oh, I agree with you’ echo of whatever the secular culture is teaching, that’s not much of a compelling reason for people to drag themselves out of bed on Sunday morning when they could be sleeping in.’”
Hard Stop. Commentary:
The apostate church is at it again…
Now, husband and wife may be offensive to people so you should be careful in using them.
The bible tells us just how much the Father hates this foolishness in Revelation 3:15-16:
15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!
16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
A lukewarm spirit is prime real estate for Satan to deceive.
As we are told in 2 Peter 2:1:
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.
In the name of “inclusion,” those who water down the gospel are willing to do pretty much whatever it takes to serve their pagan god, including changing the words and their meanings within our Holy Bible.
That doesn’t end well.
As we see in Matthew 12:30-33:
30 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.
31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
And in Deuteronomy 4:2:
2 Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.
This is what happens when the church abdicates leadership of the culture of our society and the culture of its own institution.
For the record, here’s the definition of abdicate:
When we renounce our throne as representatives of God, what you are left with is sin dictating the terms.
Homework: Remember, Satan knows scripture better than you do. As soon as he sees any opportunity to insert evil… he’s all over it.
Then he uses weak and rebellious hearts and minds to stoke the fire.
Here’s a quick example to use in conversations: In the world, we often hear “Listen to your heart!”
Sounds good at first, but what does scripture say? Let’s look at Jeremiah 17:9:
The heart is deceitful and wicked above all things, who can know it?
You are going to have to be bold and clear in your declaration of the word. Do not waiver… God’s got you!
