In Singapore last week, Pope Francis was “par for the course…”
In an in-depth story series in 2023, We Are The Watchmen Weekly covered the story of Chrislam = One World Religion where we exposed Pope Francis for being complicit in the opening of the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi.

To provide a basis of reference on the The Abrahamic Family House, here’s a description from Crisis Magazine Publisher, Eric Sammons:
"Today the “Abrahamic Family House” in Abu Dhabi, UAE opens for visitors. This multi-religious site hosts a mosque, synagogue, and a church, and was created as a result of the Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together, co-authored by Pope Francis and prominent Sunni Islamic leader Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar.
The Document on Human Fraternity is presented as a document that “is concerned with how different faiths can live peaceably in the same world and areas.”
Sounds sweet as pie, right?
Well, the devil is in the details… which Eric Sammons points out:
Early on in the declaration, the pope and the sheikh state that “In the name of God . . . [we] declare the adoption of a culture of dialogue as the path; mutual cooperation as the code of conduct; reciprocal understanding as the method and standard.”
Does anything there catch your eye?
If the pope and sheikh state together that they write “in the name of God,” then they imply that they believe in the same God . . . and their God has the same name. Yet Catholics believe that the “name” of God is “the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit” (cf. Matt. 28:19); i.e., the Holy Trinity, a teaching that Islam emphatically rejects.
Catholics and Muslims making a joint statement “in the name of God” suggests that there is no fundamental difference between the two religions as to the “name” of God.
WOW. Let that sink in for a moment…
Isn’t that an ideal description of a merger between Christianity and Islam?
Yes, it is. Meet Chrislam.
For our regular readers, this isn’t a surprise. Scripture to keep handy for today:
3 If the Gospel be then hid, it is hid to them that are lost.
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds, that is, of the infidels, that the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, which is the image of God, should not shine unto them.
God also shows us how those who are against God will go about their mission, in 2 Corinthians 11:14-15:
14 And no marvel: for Satan himself is transformed into an Angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing, though his ministers transform themselves, as though they were the ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works.

“During a three-day visit to Singapore, Pope Francis declared that ‘all religions are a path to God,’ sparking backlash among religious leaders in the U.S.
The statement was made at an interreligious meeting with young people at a Catholic junior college shortly before his departure back to Rome.
Departing from his prepared remarks, Francis spoke off the cuff, stating that different religions are like ‘different languages’ to reach God.”
Quick Pause. Commentary:
The word speaks the truth better than we can. In Matthew 12:34:
34 O generations of vipers, how can you speak good things, when ye are evil? For of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Let’s continue.
“‘If you start to fight, ‘my religion is more important than yours, mine is true and yours isn’t,’ where will that lead us?’ he asked, according to Crux Now.
‘There’s only one God, and each of us has a language to arrive at God. Some are Sheik, Muslim, Hindu, Christian, and they are different paths [to God].’
Reacting to the pontiff's comments, Bishop Joseph Strickland, who oversaw the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tyler, Texas, until his dismissal by the Vatican last year, said in a post on X, ‘Please pray for Pope Francis to clearly state that Jesus Christ is the only Way. To deny this is to deny Him. If we deny Christ, He will deny us, He cannot deny Himself.’
Strickland was ousted for disagreeing with Francis on the issue of banning pro-abortion Catholic politicians from receiving communion and over the degree to which outreach to the LGBT community is acceptable in the Catholic Church.
A petition created in defense of Strickland last year said he was ousted because he ‘publicly corrected several heterodox statements from Pope Francis.’
Quick Pause. Commentary:
So, Bishop Strickland was dismissed by the Vatican… for telling the truth.
There’s scripture to explain why. Take moment to think about this:
Does “an attempt to blend two religions” sound confusing at all?
It should, because it’s designed to be. And that IS NOT of God. As we are told in 1 Corinthians 14:33:
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as we see in all the Churches of the Saints.
Why are we warned about this? Because once confusion takes root, Satan can do his work.
As we are told in Genesis 3:4-6:
4 Then the serpent said to the woman, Ye shall not die at all,
5 But God doth know that when ye shall eat thereof, your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 So the woman (seeing that the tree was good for meat, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired, to get knowledge) took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also to her husband with her, and he did eat.
And this is how you end up with someone like Pope Francis running things.

“Fr. Calvin Robinson, who recently moved from England to lead a church in western Michigan, also rebuked the pope's statement in a post on X:
‘This is a counter-scriptural statement from Pope Francis. The Scriptures teach us the opposite. The gate to Heaven is narrow.’
Robinson added, ‘In Christ’s own words: 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'“
“Francis previously faced criticism and accusations of heresy on social media back in May for claiming the human heart is ‘fundamentally good’ during a ‘60 Minutes’ interview.
When asked by interviewer Norah O’Donnell what gives him hope about the world, the pope responded with ’everything,’ citing acts of goodness by people as proof of humanity’s inherent goodness.
‘You see tragedies, but you also see so many beautiful things,’ he said.
‘You see heroic mothers, heroic men, men who have hopes and dreams, women who look to the future. That gives me a lot of hope. People want to live. People forge ahead. And people are fundamentally good. We are all fundamentally good. Yes, there are some rogues and sinners, but the heart itself is good.’
At the time, many commenters on X criticized Francis for his remarks, with some accusing him of failing to grasp the basic teaching of the Gospel.
Some users noted that Francis’ comment appeared to be an example of Pelagianism, a fifth century heresy that denied original sin and taught the essential goodness of humanity.”
Quick Pause. Commentary:
Scripture, as it always does, provides us answers as to why this is happening:
In James 1:8:
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
And in 1 John 4:3:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is not of God: but this is the spirit of Antichrist, of whom ye have heard, how that he should come, and now already he is in this world.

Satan knows that once we start down the road of compromising the word of God, compromising on everything else will surely follow.
