The Satanic Temple Unveils Demonic Statue Near Nativity Scene At New Hampshire State House

The Satanic Temple has once again taken steps to provoke believers and promote their dark agenda.
As reported, a Satanic statue was unveiled near a Nativity scene in New Hampshire, a move that clearly demonstrates the ongoing rise of spiritual warfare and the increasing boldness of the enemy in this age.
The article reveals that the statue, which depicts a serpent coiled around an apple, was placed just a few feet from the traditional display celebrating the birth of Christ. From the article in The Christian Post:
"The unveiling of the statue was accompanied by a ceremony held by members of the Satanic Temple, who argue that their religious beliefs are being suppressed in America."
The serpent, with its clear biblical symbolism, harkens back to the very same lies spoken in the Garden of Eden. This deliberate twisting of the sacred with the profane is a tactic employed by the devil himself, to pervert the message of the Father and sow confusion among the faithful.
Scriptural Insight: The Devil's Deception
In Genesis, the serpent is the embodiment of the devil's deception, leading Eve to sin by questioning the Father’s command.
As we see in Genesis 3:1-6:
1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field, which the Lord God had made: and he said to the woman, Yea, hath God indeed said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden.
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 Then the serpent said to the woman, Ye shall not die at all,
5 But God doth know that when ye shall eat thereof, your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 So the woman (seeing that the tree was good for meat, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired, to get knowledge) took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also to her husband with her, and he did eat.
The serpent’s lie was simple but profound: “Ye shall be as gods.”
This has been the core of Satan’s agenda since the fall of man—to elevate humanity to a place where it rejects the Father’s authority. This desire to place humanity in the place of the Father is exactly what the Satanic Temple promotes, as the article notes:
"They do not revere or believe in Satan. Instead, they worship rationality, individualism, pleasure, and the mundane life."
This is a blatant rejection of the Father’s sovereignty and a direct affront to His word.

Scriptural Rejection of Idolatry
The unveiling of this statue also highlights the persistent danger of idolatry, which Scripture repeatedly warns against. Exodus 20:3 declares:
"Thou shalt have none other gods before me."
The Satanic Temple’s statue, as a representation of their beliefs, is nothing less than an idol, demanding reverence and attention that rightly belongs only to the Creator.
In 1 John 5:21, we are urged to keep ourselves away from idols:
"Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen."
Idolatry is not just about physical idols; it is any belief or practice that places something—whether a person, idea, or ideology—above the Father.
The message is clear: the Satanic Temple seeks to elevate human desires above God’s commands, a form of idolatry that leads people into darkness.
The Evil of Blasphemy
The Satanic Temple openly mocks the very foundation of our beliefs by placing their symbol next to the Nativity scene, which celebrates the humble birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
In Matthew 12:31, Jesus Himself warns about the severity of blasphemy:
"Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men."
By elevating Satanism and mocking His birth, the Satanic Temple commits a grave offense against the very essence of the Father’s work on earth. This is not only a political statement but a spiritual one—one that seeks to further entrench the work of the devil in the public square.

Pulling It Together: A Call To Discernment
As we reflect on these events, we must understand that the rise of such displays is part of a broader cultural shift away from the Father and His commandments. The devil is working openly to undermine Christianity and advance his own kingdom. The Scriptures provide us with clear warnings and instructions on how to respond to such events.
As we’re told in Ephesians 6:11-12:
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the assaults of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, and against the worldly governors, the princes of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness, which are in the high places.
This battle is not against human adversaries but against the spiritual forces of evil that seek to deceive and destroy. Believers must stand firm in their faith, rooted in Scripture, and actively resist the influence of these dark forces.
We are called to be vigilant and to speak truth boldly, knowing that even in the face of such blatant evil, the Father’s truth stands eternal.
We Are The Watchmen, and we must continue to equip the church to engage the culture and expose the works of darkness with the light of God's word.
