As a regular reader, you know we’ve been at the forefront on the War on Women & the family as Father designed them to be.
Sadly, as we’ve predicted in prior pieces, the rabbit hole of evil keeps getting deeper.
They say it’s science…
They say it’s innovation…
But peel back the sleek headlines and venture funding, and you find the same old lie whispered in Eden: “You shall be as gods.”
This week, The Wall Street Journal revealed that Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, and a circle of other tech elites are funding startups working to genetically engineer babies… directly challenging U.S. law and divine order itself.
According to the Journal’s reporting, Armstrong has invested in companies such as Conception Bio and Preventive, which are developing ways to create human embryos from stem or skin cells and edit their DNA to eliminate disease and “enhance traits.”
The work, as the WSJ notes, cannot legally be brought to human pregnancy in the United States, because federal law forbids the implantation of edited embryos.
So what are they doing? Looking for countries that will let them.
The Journal reported that these investors are exploring nations with lax bioethics laws, including the United Arab Emirates, to move forward with experimentation that would be illegal on U.S. soil.
Playing God with the Blueprint of Life
Armstrong told the Journal that he sees embryo editing as “the next great frontier in human advancement.”
The same phrase could have come from the builders of Babel. Let us make a name for ourselves,” they said in Genesis 11…
and Father scattered them for it.
What began as “curing disease” is mutating into designer humanity, a vision where children are not born in Father’s image but programmed to reflect human ambition.
“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”
— Genesis 1:27
That truth is non-negotiable. Yet the technocrats now talk of building “better humans.”
Better, by whose standard? By whose morality?
The Shell Game They’re Playing
Federal law, reinforced by the FDA and Congress, prohibits the creation or implantation of genetically edited human embryos. Even the National Academies of Sciences warns that doing so would cross a line that “humanity may never return from.”
Armstrong’s funders know this… and instead of stopping, they seek loopholes overseas.
James 4:17 speaks to this directly:
“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”
The sin here is knowing the moral law — and breaking it anyway… but when you believe you’re god, that doesn’t matter much, does it?
Replacing Mothers: The Next Phase
Let’s be honest: This isn’t about gene editing. It’s about reproduction without women.
In the labs Armstrong bankrolls, researchers aim to grow eggs from skin cells, potentially eliminating the need for mothers altogether.
The Journal quoted one biotech founder describing a future where “anyone could create eggs from their own cells” — a so-called “democratization of reproduction.”
But Scripture tells us differently.
“For You formed my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.”
— Psalm 139:13
You see, you cannot “democratize” what Father designed as sacred partnership between man, woman, and Himself.
When the mother disappears, so does the nurture that forms the soul.
A Lawless Frontier
This same WSJ exposé confirmed that Armstrong’s investments fall into legal gray zones - some experiments taking place offshore, others operating under private funding loopholes that bypass U.S. regulatory oversight.
It’s the biotech version of offshore banking: if you can’t do it here, buy the laws somewhere else.
But Romans 1:22 warns us:
“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”
Humanity’s wisdom, detached from His word, always spirals into madness. The last century proved it through eugenics. This century’s version is digital, data-driven, and just as demonic.
Science as Sorcery
In Revelation 18:23, Babylon falls because “by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”
The Greek word pharmakeia — from which we get pharmacy — refers to both medicine and enchantment.
What greater deception could there be than claiming to “heal” humanity while dismantling its very soul?
These gene-editing labs are the new temples of pharmakeia - mixing molecules with pride, selling salvation through science, and whispering the same promise the serpent offered: “You will not surely die.”
The Family Under Siege
Our earlier Watchmen reports warned this was coming—experiments designed to make parents optional and motherhood obsolete.
The billionaire class is simply accelerating what secular academia already began.
And yet Scripture stands firm:
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain that build it.”
— Psalm 127:1
A family without Father collapses, period.
Pulling It Together: Choose Whom You Will Serve
Armstrong and his peers think they’re coding a better species.
In truth, they’re reviving Babel, trading the Creator’s perfection for man-made chaos.
Let them have their algorithms.
We have the Alpha and Omega.
“Choose this day whom you will serve… but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
— Joshua 24:15
The war on creation is accelerating.
But the Watchmen are awake.
And as long as Father breathes life into His people, His design will not be erased.
