REVIVAL BREAKS OUT - GOD’S TIMELY VESSELS
While mainstream media provided limited coverage of the incredible revival happening on the campus of Ashbury University, CBN, Faithwire, and other great publications have been covering it - to the point that it finally showed up on Fox News.
As we look inside of the feature from CBN, we can see God’s scriptural guidance, and Psalms 80:18 at work:
18 So will not we go back from thee, [a]revive thou us, and we shall call upon thy Name.
Footnotes
Psalm 80:18 For none can call upon God but such as are raised up as it were from death to life, and regenerate by the holy Spirit.
"As the historic revival at Asbury University stretches into its eighth day, a Tennessee pastor said the Holy Spirit has also been moving in a big way on another college campus.
REVIVAL is an amazing blessing of The Lord:
We see this in scripture a number of times, where God shows us his mercy, AND regenerates us in a way that moves others to do the same:
In Habakkuk 3:2:
2 [a]O Lord, I have heard thy voice, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy [b]work in the midst of the people, in the midst of the years make it known: in wrath remember mercy.
Footnotes
Habakkuk 3:2 Thus the people were afraid when they heard God’s threatenings, and prayed.
Habakkuk 3:2 That is, the state of thy Church which is now ready to perish, before it come to half a perfect age, which should be under Christ.
And in 2 Chronicles 7:14:
14 If my people, among whom my Name is called upon, do humble themselves, and pray and seek my presence, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear in heaven and be merciful to their sin, and will [a]heal their land:
Footnotes
2 Chronicles 7:14 I will cause the pestilence to cease and destroy the beasts that hurt the fruits of the earth, and send rain in due season.
And in Psalm 51:10:
10 [a]Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
Footnotes
Psalm 51:10 He confesseth that when God’s Spirit is cold in us, to have it again revived, is as a new creation.
When you are talking with believers and non-believers, being able to easily explain and show people the practical power of revival AND who is leading this current revival breaks down barriers.
Let’s look at who is leading the charge:
Rob Fultz, the campus pastor at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, said revival started breaking out at his school Monday morning, with around eight students starting a prayer that ignited a movement — and it hasn’t slowed down.
Local news reports indicate the Lee revival has now gone well past the 70-hour mark. Lee University student Kaylee Joyner told WDEF on Wednesday, 'Some of my friends have been talking about how hungry people are for the Lord. And I think when you walk in you can feel that.'
'They were actually talking about the Asbury revival,' Fultz said of the Lee students who originated the movement on the Tennessee campus. 'And one of the students asked the professor, ‘Why not here? And why not now? Can we go to the chapel right now and pray for revival on our campus?'
The group did just that — and the results were incredible. 'It’s been rolling since nine o’clock [Monday] morning. And the spirit of God is moving,' Fultz said. 'We’ve seen salvation, deliverance, healing over the last 24 hours.”
God uses vessels of all different kinds, but in this instance, He is using His hand in a mighty way to break powerful strongholds:
1- The world has a notion that it is old, white, men, who are telling people they are going to hell, and that’s the word of God, and;
2- Many believe that our younger generations are completely lost.
Now, look at how God is working with these revivals:
1- He’s using young people, from all walks of life, in revival for ALL OF US to see;
2- Support is coming from EVERYWHERE.
In Joel 2:28-30, The Lord speaks of this, and shows us his incredible mercy if we repent - He restores and preserves:
28 And afterward will I pour [a]out my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy: your old men shall dream [b]dreams, and your young men shall see visions.
29 And also upon the servants, and upon the maids in those days will I pour my Spirit.
30 And I will show [c]wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood and fire, and pillars of smoke.
Footnotes
Joel 2:28 That is, in greater abundance, and more generally than in times past: and this was fulfilled under Christ, when as God’s graces, and his Spirit under the Gospel was abundantly given to the Church, Isa. 44:3; Acts 2:17; John 7:38, 39.
Joel 2:28 As they had visions and dreams in old time, so shall they now have clearer revelations.
Joel 2:30 He warneth the faithful what terrible things should come, to the intent that they should not look for continual quietness in this world, and yet in all these troubles he would preserve them.
If you are a leader or a Watchmen, this is a powerful moment… to minister, to guide (including those on the college campuses where these revivals are happening, and other places that revivals spring up) and to share.
Imagine doing that for this young lady:
Get moving, Watchmen.

A REMINDER WARNING ABOUT HOW WE TREAT THE LEAST OF US
Yes, reminder is crossed out, and left in the sentence above, on purpose.
Many of us work through daily life in the world, simply thinking that God is “reminding us” of something…
In scripture, we know that God gets to a point where he stops reminding and gets to the warning part… which is followed by the judgement part.
This article is a WARNING of just that:
A Yale professor who suggested that mass suicide could be the solution to Japan's aging population has gained celebrity status among the country's youth, even appearing in an advertisement for energy drinks, The New York Times reported.
Yusuke Narita, an assistant professor of economics at Yale University, has argued for the controversial solution to Japan's aging population in several public appearances and interviews, The Times reported.
In an interview with an online Japanese news program in December 2021, Narita said a 'pretty clear solution' would be the introduction of mass suicide, or mass 'seppuku' of the elderly.
Seppuku refers to the ritual suicide of samurai, which historically involved self-disembowelment.
When pressed by a teenager on his mass seppuku theory last year, Narita referred to a scene in the 2019 horror film 'Midsommar' in which an elderly person is sent to die by suicide by jumping off a cliff, according to The Times.
'Whether that's a good thing or not, that's a more difficult question to answer,' Narita said, per the newspaper. 'So if you think that's good, then maybe you can work hard toward creating a society like that.'"
In this article, we not only see the violation of scripture in how we treat those who are old or young, but we also see a false prophet in action.
3 [a]For the time will come when they will not suffer wholesome doctrine: but having their ears itching, shall after their own lusts get them an heap of teachers,
4 And shall turn their ears from the truth, and shall be given unto [b]fables.
Footnotes
2 Timothy 4:3 Faithful Pastors in times past took all occasions they could, because men were very prompt and ready to return to their fables.
2 Timothy 4:4 To false and unprofitable doctrines, which the world is now so bewitched withal, that it had rather the open light of the truth were utterly put out, when it would come out of darkness.
And in Acts 20:28-30:
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, whereof the holy Ghost hath made you Overseers to [a]feed the Church of God which [b]he hath purchased with [c]that his own blood.
29 [d]For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Moreover of your own selves shall men arise speaking perverse things, to [e]draw disciples after them.
Footnotes
Acts 20:28 To keep it, to feed it, and govern it.
Acts 20:28 A notable sentence for Christ’s Godhead: which showeth plainly in his person, how that by reason of the joining together of the two natures in his own person, that which is proper to one is spoken of the other being taken in the derivative, and not in the primitive: which in old time the godly fathers termed a communicating or fellowship of proprieties, that is to say, a making common of that to two, which belongeth but to one.
Acts 20:28 This word, That showeth the excellency of this blood.
Acts 20:29 A prophecy of pastors that should straightway degenerate into wolves against such as boast and brag only of a succession of persons.
Acts 20:30 This is a great misery, to want the presence of such a shepherd, but greater to have wolves enter in.
And in Matthew 7:15-20:
15 ¶ [a]Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns? or figs of thistles?
17 So every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, and a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit, is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Footnotes
Matthew 7:15 False teachers must be taken heed of, and they are known by false doctrine and evil living.
Yusuke Narita has gained celebrity status among the country's youth, and has a huge audience, which has become cult-like in their reverence for him.
That’s a false prophet.
Narita is also talking about a '“solution to an aging population problem” by proposing that they kill themselves.
God makes it clear about our treatment of the least of us - the young and the elderly:
In Matthew 25:40 and 25:45:
40 And the king shall answer, and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it to me.
45 Then shall he answer them, and say, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
And Matthew 18:10:
10 [a]See that ye despise not one of these little ones: for I say unto you, that in heaven their Angels always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
Footnotes
Matthew 18:10 The weaker that a man is, the greater care we ought to have of his salvation, as God teacheth us by his own example.
Articles like this one allow us to engage in meaningful conversation around the importance of vigilance against false teachers, or those who would do harm to others.
They usually sneak in and position themselves, and blind others to their evil by making it sound practical, and also making ‘the evil’ seem like the idea of the person who is being deceived, as the serpent did in Genesis 3:
1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’’
4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
Be vigilant, and call this behavior out!
AN EXPLOSION OF KNOWLEDGE - AND A LACK OF KNOWLEDGE
There’s so much information out today, that people are drowning in it.
In this article, we see that and a desire to be God, in a very scary and prophetic way:
Elon Musk wants to put a computer chip in your brain. Well, maybe not in your brain, but in the brain of some human, somewhere.
Musk's neurotech startup, Neuralink, has been working toward implanting its skull-embedded brain chip in a human since it was founded in 2016. After years of testing on animal subjects, Musk announced in December that the company planned to initiate human trials within six months (though this wasn't the first time he'd said these trials were on the horizon).
Neuralink has spent over half a decade figuring out how to translate brain signals into digital outputs — imagine being able to move a cursor, send a text message, or type in a word processor with just a thought. While the initial focus is on medical use cases, such as helping paralyzed people communicate, Musk has aspired to take Neuralink's chips mainstream — to, as he's said, put a 'Fitbit in your skull.'
People have mixed opinions on Elon Musk and the work that he does. Regardless, he is looked upon by many as god-like, which is idolatry.
Musk, along with others, also have a strange desire to alter the creation of God, which mocks him:
As stated in Galatians 6:7:
7 [a]Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
15 Therefore the Lord God of their fathers sent to them [a]by his messengers, [b]rising early and sending: for he had compassion on his people, and on his habitation.
16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his Prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, and till there was no [c]remedy.
There’s more:
Because there's a reason to be cautious. After all, if it's easy to get addicted to your phone, just think how much more addicting it could be if it were wired directly into your brain.
Gilbert told me about one patient he had interviewed who developed a kind of decision paralysis, eventually feeling as if they couldn't go out or decide what to eat without first consulting the device that showed what was going on in their brain. 'There is nothing wrong with having a device that is completing a decision," Gilbert said, "but at the end, the device was kind of supplanting the person in the decision, kicking them out of the loop.'"
This paragraph is described in scripture in multiple places:
In Daniel 12:4:
4 But thou, O Daniel, [a]shut up the words, and seal the book [b]till the end of the time: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Footnotes
Daniel 12:4 Though the most part despise this prophecy, yet keep thou it sure and esteem it as a treasure.
Daniel 12:4 Till the time that God hath appointed for the full revelation of these things: and then many shall run to and fro to search the knowledge of these mysteries which things they obtain now by the light of the Gospel.
And in Hosea 4:1:
1 Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord [a]hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
Footnotes
Hosea 4:1 Because the people would not obey the admonitions of the Prophet, he citeth them before the judgment seat of God, against whom they chiefly offended, Isa. 7:13; Zech. 12:10; Mic. 6:1, 2.
And Hosea 4:6:
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because [a]thou hast refused knowledge, I will also refuse thee that thou shalt be no Priest to me: and seeing [b]thou hast forgotten the Law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Footnotes
Hosea 4:6 That is, the Priests shall be cast off, because that for lack of knowledge, they are not able to execute their charge, and instruct others, Deut. 33:3; Mal. 2:7.
Hosea 4:6 Meaning, the whole body of the people, which were weary with hearing the word of God.
And In Jeremiah 4:22:
22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me: they are foolish children, and have none understanding: [a]they are wise to do evil, but to do well they have no knowledge.
Footnotes
Jeremiah 4:22 Their wisdom and policy tend to their own destruction and pulleth them from God.
This article provides us with a powerful opportunity to share the gospel to the world and within mainstream conversations about what is really going on behind the curtains. Even non-believers have concerns about being controlled. And being able to share these scriptures will help those that are lost, as well as those who are searching, to connect the dots to Jesus.
